Information you provide in the free checker and any paid guide: your name, email, phone (optional), postcode, vehicle and issue details, and any registration details you choose to paste from your own Service NSW check.

Service NSW registration details

You perform the official registration check yourself on Service NSW and voluntarily paste the result. We never access Service NSW on your behalf. By submitting, you confirm you are authorised to provide that information.

Website and IP data

We record limited technical information (including IP address and the area you're visiting from) to understand demand by location and to keep the service secure.

How we use it

To prepare your guidance, to operate and improve the service, and — only with your consent — to connect you with a suitable authorised expert.

Emails we send you

If you give us your email address, we may send you your result, follow up on your enquiry, and let you know about the service — including when we open in your state. We don't send marketing emails yet — when we do, every one will carry an unsubscribe link.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We only share your details with a third-party expert if you explicitly ask us to.

Where your information is stored

This website and its data are hosted on servers in the United States, so your information is stored overseas. The site runs over a secure (HTTPS) connection.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it to help you and to meet our record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
